November 3rd, 2017 Class News in a blog. We had another busy week! Enjoy watching students conduct experiments with light and recording their observations. One of the tools they used was a spectroscope (those are the little black instruments that look like a mini telescope). This allowed them to see a band of colors, as seen in a rainbow, produced by separation of the components of light by their different degrees of refraction according to wavelength. In the slideshow, you will see students using some of our short vowel games and activities. There is also a picture of a "Sight Word Search" using a container of colored sand and word tiles. And finally, one studios little fellow is working hard in his math book. This is just a small peek at our very busy school days of learning. |
